On November 22, 2018, Princeton in Asia fellow Ms. Alison Sharpless from Wisconsin, U.S.A. along with MLC 4th and 5th floors students prepared and hosted a traditional American Thanksgiving meal for residents in the college. The delicious meal included a homemade roast turkey and an assortment of oven-roasted vegetables. Participants also worked together in teams to bake chocolate chip cookies which were enjoyed for dessert.

A warm and communal atmosphere made the event very memorable for all involved, and effectively captured the holiday’s associated values of gratefulness and togetherness. Not only was it an enriching and culturally educational experience, but also further strengthened the bonds of friendship between UM students. The hosts would like to thank everyone who joined the festivity.
