The annual “Walk for a Million” event in Macau concluded on December 8, 2024. During the award ceremony, Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College (MLC) was honored with the “Generosity Award” and the “Enthusiasm Award”!
This event, organized by the Charity Fund of the Readers of Macao Daily News, has provided significant support to social development and progress over the years. This year, more than 50,000 participants joined the Walk for a Million. MLC staff, along with some family members, children, and students, actively participated in both the donation and the walking event.
Staff and students enthusiastically donated and walked alongside other organizations in Macau, starting from the Macau Science Center and finishing at A-Ma Temple. Braving cold winds and scorching sun, participants walked for over three hours and successfully reached the finish line, showcasing the generosity, love, and resilience of MLC community.
Despite being drenched in sweat, everyone felt immense joy and pride in contributing to Macau’s social development and the public welfare!
