The University of Macau provides a platform for knowledge integration to our students. As such, Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College invited Dr. Jason Ni, Executive Director (Research, Planning and Strategy), Wynn Macau to deliver a talk on Greater Bay Area Development and Regional Tourism. The talk was held on 14 April 2021. It  begins with Ni introducing his  collaborative project with Macau Department of Tourism on Macau’s tourism industry plan and their study on tourism signage. Putting theories in transportation planning and policy into practice, Ni then explains how the concept of Giant Airport Cluster is applied to the Greater Bay Area with the Hong Kong, Zhuhai, Macau Bridge playing a significant role.  Another concept Ni explains to the students is Tourism Carrying Capacity that calculates the optimal number of tourists that Macau accommodates.  Attendees of the talk include 30 on-campus students and foreign students who attended through online platform.
